The '''Abandoned Howitzer''' [[Special Encounter]] is the site of a broken-down military truck in the middle of the desert. It was pulling a large [[Howitzer|howitzer gun]] when it was abandoned, and a nearby skeleton and broken Mr Handy robot are indications of a serious problem.

It will have two ammo crates with good items. You'll find more [[Howitzer Shells]] than you can likely carry, and one of following sets of armor:

* [[Brotherhood Armor]] + [[Brotherhood Combat Helmet]]
* [[Enclave Armor]] + [[Enclave Combat Helmet]]
* [[NCR Ranger Armor]]
* You may also find [[Mirrored Shades]] in one of the crates
