This is your opportunity to make sure you're at a level high enough to confidently fight some robobrains solo, and that you are equipped with sufficient gear to handle the mission.

He'll give you two [[Grenade (Pulse)|Pulse Grenades]] to help you fight the robots. Taking this quest will highlight a temporary location on your map, near [[Necropolis]]. Search for a rope in the bunker (or bring one along) and use it to fix the elevator to reach the lower level. When you have retrieved the data from the bunker, do not report to your recruiting paladin at the BoS field office. Report instead directly to the quartermaster at [[Lost Hills]]. He's on the first floor.
